Hi, my name is Katja. I am Communication Director at a Fortune 500 company, entrepreneur, and proud wife of Patrick.
Next to a successful 20-year marketing communication career in corporate working at global enterprises, I also bring my skills and knowledge to small & mid-sized businesses and I support marketing assistants in advancing in their careers.
When I became a marketer, my goal has always been to help companies increase brand awareness and help them grow.
My specialty is content marketing, and in my opinion, “everything is content, content is everything.” Together with my team of specialists, I support clients to becoming more visible, attracting more clients, and growing their business with our brand booster solutions.
We work 100% remotely and serve clients on a global scale.

Because of my broad marketing communication expertise and experiences in both the industry and the corporate world, where I still work (I am Communication Director at a Fortune 500 company in the chemical sector), as well as the acquired knowledge and skills in content marketing in general, I know better than anyone how content affects all aspects of the complex business world.
This allows me to understand how you can best collaborate with other departments within a company, especially within complex matrix structures, and to manage marketing teams. I also know what impact a marketing communication strategy and especially content can have on other departments and how you can best respond to this to create an in-win situation that works for everyone.

In the end, it all boils down to the knowledge, skillset, and experiences you have to build up. I started my career about 20 years ago. Since then, I worked and managed international teams in corporate communication, branding, event marketing, and digital marketing.
I’m experienced in working with companies that have an industrial background and a complex international business structure that offers a wide variety of services. I’m specialized in collaborating with international sales, marketing, and business development teams to make complex subjects easy to understand.
I have worked for large international companies such as Stork, Microsoft, and currently at Air Liquide in local and international roles in complex matrix structures. As Director Communication at Air Liquide, a global player in the chemical industry (Fortune 500), I am currently end-responsible for all online and offline marketing communications. One of the achievements I’m particularly proud of is one of our blogs, which I designed and for which I have created the content marketing strategy and which I have rolled out to all our Northern European countries in all local languages. This resulted in an increase of 40% visitors and an equal conversation rate.
During my career, I have gained extensive experience in launching new products and services, developing marketing communication strategies, rebranding companies, organizing worldwide B2B events such as fairs, seminars, and workshops, and last but not least I have been leading international marketing communication teams.
I know how to transform marketing communication into a digital-first approach and I have an excellent team to support me in the execution.
ALWAYS CONTINUE TO LEARN
After my marketing studies, of course, I didn’t standstill. I followed many in-depth courses around marketing management and digital marketing at diverse (inter)national organizations such as BAM (Ex.STIMA), Vlerick Business School, and Syntra among others. I also specialized in content marketing and social media through various long-term certified courses.
What’s in a name?
I founded Accretios because I want to use the knowledge and experience I have gained during my career to helping other companies grow.
Accretios is the plural of “Accretio”, a Latin word, which means “growth”.
